Small business tricks – ensuring things are done (not perfect)

It's happening...

Little Mexican Tienda goes to market

After months of putting the business together, I’m ready to go to my first market on September 7th at Glebe Markets.
Now when I say ready, there a million and one things I would like to wait for to make the market day perrrfect. But I stumbled across the maxim, ‘Done is better than perfect,’ and it was a wake up call. I have the stock. I have the graphic design. I have the website. And now I even have the gazebo…
Time to launch!

Props to the friends and family who’ve supported me in this venture, especially the original Mexican. Big thanks to the wonderfully creative Graphic Designer, Kate Hornstein for her encouragement and for so thoroughly ‘getting’ the brief: http://www.linkedin.com/in/katehornstein.
